We want our holidays to be as carbon neutral as possible. As well as trying to improve and make "greener" our ways of working, we are developing a new idea. Those of our guests that choose to can offset the carbon emissions of their flight.

For the last few years we have been offering our guests the chance to plant a tree on our Finca as a way of reducing their carbon footprint. This year we have chosen to plant 400 new trees. We donīt have space for more so we are now inviting participation in global offset schemes.

, Bring an empty reusable water bottle to the airport. While you can't bring water through security, you can bring an empty bottle and fill it up at the water fountain. Double savings = you don't have to buy an overpriced water and you don't have to consume a disposable water bottle! A huge amount of emmissions comes from rearing animals for meat. Not only do they emit large amounts of methane gas,agricultural companies continue to destroy forest on a huge scale to create pasture.
Things have improved hugely from the days of torfu and lentils and non meat recipes can be incredibly tasty. We only serve fi9sh and vegetarian meals. despite this some avid meat eatyers have confessed to us that they had been here for a week without even realising that they hadnīt had meat I their diets.
Try cutting down on meat its a great way to reduce carbon emmissions and these days you will get really tasty meals.
