Great hosts,great food and excellent facilities. Very clean,welcoming rooms, impressive pool and sun lounge area and lovely grounds to stretch the legs! A real home from home.

My family and i stayed at FUEGOBLANCO this summer, and to cap it all, it was our first ever visit to Spain, and we always said, that if we ever visited this country, it would be well away from the tourist trappings, and Brit Fish "n" Chip culture of the coast. And what a find, FUEGOBLANCO turned out to be!!. Ran by enthusiastic expats, who give you not only top quality accomadation at a very reasonable price, but good food to boot!. Nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was always at a time to suit us, evening meals arranged without problem on a daily basis, and help and advice on what to do with our time, touring this wonderful area. The sleeping accomadation was always clean and tidy, fresh towels, and a fridge of cold drinks to purchase as necessary, a good sized swimming pool, and for my 2 daughter's, 3 cats to play with in the grounds. So, if you want to visit Alora, or indeed this part of Spain, then i would recommend stopping at FUEGOBLANCO. We shall return sooner, rather than later for another family holiday. Eating out in Alora is not only cheap, but you are spoilt for choice, and there is so much to do in this area.

Comments: A small, private, farmhouse/hotel. A beautifully restored and improved building just an hours drive from Malaga. Wonderful surroundings. Perfectly situated among hills/mountains and lemon and orange groves near the El Chorro Gorge national park in Andalusia. Cordoba is a train ride away. Local town a pleasure, and activities abound, including bird-watching, horse riding and climbing. Terrific accommodation and facilities (the swimming pool is immaculately clean, as is the whole place). A fabulous place to stay. Felt like a friend of the family. Wonderful, home cooked food (vegetarian and fish) and charming host and hostess. Overall; wonderful holiday experience. Would recommend to anybody.
